Performance at Chad’s Blind, Lincoln IL

Jim returns to Lincoln, IL, where he attended Lincoln Christian College (now Lincoln Christian University) years ago.  Chad’s Blind is located at 1230 5th Street in Lincoln.  He will be accompanied vocally by his wife, Janalee.  Tickets are available at the door.  February 10, 2011, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Here is a link to a front-page article in the Lincoln Courier, pertaining to Jim’s appearance there:

APC Conference, Schaumburg IL

The Association of Professional Chaplains is holding national conference in the Chicago area.  Jim is providing music for Sunday morning (April 10) Interfaith Worship Service, also for a memorial service on Wednesday, April 14, for chaplains who have died during the year.

Harrisonburg visit with Reunion Vocal Band

Homecoming weekend October 9-10, 2009 at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg.  Jim is playing concert on Friday night (October 9) of his songs, accompanied by some of his most beloved fellow musicians. Saturday evening he takes part in Reunion Vocal Band concert.

Martha and Dale Cooper need help in meeting the uncovered portion of the medical bills that have accumulated as a result of a surgery complication in 2009, leaving Martha unable to breathe on her own. Martha, who has two teenage children, requires round the clock home care.

For many years, the Coopers have been involved in ministries to people with disabilities such as the Chicago L’Arche community. Now they need a little help. Jim will be performing a selection of his original songs in this special concert.

Concert – Association for Clinical Pastoral Education

Details: Concert for gathering of members of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). CPE is the clinical training specifically required for chaplaincy. This organization is made up of persons who are CPE Supervisors.

Details: This concert will feature Jim’s wife, Janalee, and also the drumming of Michael Powers, who plays on a number of the songs on The Light That Falls to the Earth. Jim first performed his songs at NCF more than thirty years ago. A free will offering will be taken.
